These internships take place throughout the year. We routinely have several students from UCSC during the school year. In the pre-law internship you’ll be exposed to most of the same situations as the 1L internship but at an appropriate level.

1L Summer Internship

During your 1L summer internship you’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a practicing staff attorney. Previous 1L internship duties have included: drafting complaints, drafting memos and briefs, administrative tasks behind litigation (e.g. serving, filing, client intake, etc.), and legal research on Westlaw and other resources.

2L Summer Internship
